Student teachers: How to avoid school gossip

School gossip is always a mess, it is that never ending
vicious cycle. It happens with the students and the
teachers to, the gossip. The gossip between students
are the worse, because that leads to a lot of he said
she said and fights. It's amazing how you are beefing
with just one person, then all of a sudden their
friends are in it when it's all over.

There is no set time or place where the gossip
takes place, kid's pass notes in class and teachers
talk about on the phone or in the teacher's lounge.
The one in th middle of the gossip is the one
I feel sorry for because it never ends for them.

It can be avoided, it is as simple as the word itself,
because that isn't a hard task to do.
All you have to do is not fall into the gossip
circle, when there is gossip in your mist don't
say a word, just listen. If any one ask your
opinion just politely say you don't have one.

That usually throws a person off when you tell
them that, and they would be hesitant to ask
another question. Try and pick friends that
are not gossipers, because if they are you
will slip up and gossip one day.

If at all possible try to stay away from the
gossip, if there is a crowd of gossip, get
out of there don't stay there. It is so easy
for some one to say you said something, because
you were there, even if you said nothing.

It is so easy to get caught up in gossip than it is
to get out of it. remember people love drama and
gossip is drama, and they will keep it going as
long as they can.

Instigators are trouble makers so you want to always
disassociate yourself with that every time, that is
always a smart move. Watch out for people that like
to start trouble as well, they only act a certain
way when you are around.
