I love my cowboy boots, and wear them with absolutely everything.
Cowboy boots can be a fairly tricky shoe type to pull off. They have a tendency to make your ankles look stocky, therefore, unless you have very slender legs, wearing them with a skirt is inadvisable as it will only look to thicken your legs rather than to slim them. If you are not so lucky as to have supermodel legs, then do not despair, just wear with bootlegged jeans to balance out your shape and slim down your leg.
I believe it is a very chic look to wear cowboy boots under bootleg cut jeans, whether you decide on a whole, way out cowboy outfit (pretty hard to pull off), with a checkered shirt, or just keeping it casual by wearing them with your normal everyday clothes. A common celebrity favorite is a white vest top, indigo jeans, tan belt around the hips and tan cowboy boots; by keeping it simple, you allow the outfit to be elegant.
Cowboy boots are a brilliant alternative to trainers or flip flops, smartening a casual outfit instantly. They are also a brilliant alternative on a night out. Wear with jeans and a sexy top for a real wow look without the aching feet that go hand in hand with heels!
I promise you, once you have them, you will not stop wearing them! Just be careful, a little cowboy can be sexy, but go the whole hog and it can look cheap and nasty if you're not a real cowboy!
