Lustful longing top razors edge
Breath captured within prisons fear
Surely plotted you to this ledge
By spoken word upon your ear
Laughter's voice cast to windy trail
Death bestowed upon sorrows tear
Upon mountain clouds you prevail
By spoken word upon your ear
Depths unknown forgotten sorrow
Absent all hope who'll travel here
Darkest days you lose tomorrow
By spoken word upon your ear
Waiting poised loves embrace to come
Sweetly caressing kiss drawn near
Anticipations course you run
By spoken word upon your ear
Breathless lives calling to the heart
Their boundless domain we revere
Foolish wise good bad they impart
By spoken word upon your ear

Your Voice
Words have the power to heal, to kill or to reveal
When the noise of the world gets so loud that it pierces,
Just
Words... like autumn leaves
Blowing in the wind
Ever rustling on the edge of our consciousness
Falling but never staying

Words on a paper,
Piercing my heart.
My eyes blur before me,
As I read the words, words, words.....
Spelling it all out before
I danced with the devil,
Because he fed me a line,
Words upon words,
Mixed with rose colored lies.
Words of deception,
Flowed
by Joeyg
Struggling words......
Laying on a back of moss
I am torn to be free,
Is it a day for my poet
Or the man in me?
I crave inspiration
