Product reviews: FitFlop fitness shoes

Well the verdict is in, Crocs are out and FitFlops are in.
FitFlops are the new fitness shoe revolution and craze that has hit the shores of Australia, and feet of Australians. They have become the United Kingdoms hottest new fitness craze.

*What are FitFlops?
FitFlop shoes are very similar to what are known commonly as flip flops, or thongs as they are known here in Australia. But better!

They are a new design, incorporating new advances in technology research and are designed to give your legs a work out as you walk.
FitFlops are the new design and creation by Darren James and Dr David Cook at LSBU. They call it the wobbleboard technology, a design that has a unique safely-tapered mid sole that is designed to work the muscles in your legs as you walk.

*Fitness Benefits of FitFlops
During a normal exercise workout, or general walking, FitFlops have been designed to reach muscles that are normally harder to target.

They have been found to increase gluteal muscle response, increase muscle response in your hamstrings, increase rectus femoris (thigh) response and increased work out in your calf muscles. Therefore creating a great workout while you walk.

They work and tone your leg muscles while making it easier to stay in shape, as all you have to do is put your FitFlops on, and walk as you normally would.

*Comfort
Depending on your level of fitness, people who are new to fitness say their buttocks and legs feel as though they have had a major workout. Whereas those who are used to some form of fitness say that the shoe is quite comfortable. They are very light to wear, some say it is like walking on clouds.

*Design
FitFlops currently only have an open toed design, much like a flip flop but better.

FitFlops currently are made from all textile and synthetic materials including latex. The designers and creators are currently working on a closed toe shoe, and one that contains more natural products and materials.

*Colors
FitFlops are currently only available in red, blue and black.

*People Who Use FitFlops
Because FitFlops are a walking shoe, anybody can use and wear them. If you are in a profession where you are on your feet all the time, such as nursing or hairdressing, just put on your FitFlops and give your body a work out at the same time.
You can put your FitFlops on when going to the shop or supermarket, or while walking to the park with your children.

I know I'm going to be one of the first people lining up at summer to purchase a pair of FitFlops, are you?
