I never really bothered thinking about time, I spent it wisely or I casually ignored the seconds and minutes as they passed me by. I'll share a random collection of my own trivial thoughts regarding time. My time is worthless on certain days. Other days it is practically priceless. As far as the workplace, more than minimum wage but much less than what a doctor or a lawyer would earn. Sadly, my time is worth more than another person from another country performing the same tasks over the same length of time.
My time would seem less valuable if I knew for certain that I would live for
a thousand years. I would take time for granted and I would probably squander
it. If I knew that I would only live for two more weeks, my time would become
more precious than water, gold, air or gasoline.
As I grow older, my time will be worth less and less even though I know many
more things and I would be able to contribute more... I do not want to waste
too much time worrying about how worthwhile my time actually is. Too bad
something wonderful like "time" had to become associated with something horrible
like "money". I often wonder why an athlete's time is more valuable than a
policeman's or a carpenter's!? Why is an actor's or singer's time more valuable
than a cowboy's or a hairdresser's? Someone warped the image of time and money
a long time ago.
