I've seen him grow from boy to man
and all along I've known the plan
that he will be great
and I will live in his shadow.
But in that shadow I will find
A love that sure and is not blind
to all my faults
but loves me anyway.
In his shadow I grow in grace
I am once more able to lift my face
And thank God for life
And for the gift that I am.
He may not know the blessing he is
He is mine and I am his.
A beautiful duet
Singing in harmony.
