exciting storylines. The fans are coming home to Port Charles and finding familiar faces.
November and February sweeps, the time when all soaps pull out their storyline big guns, are giving us catastrophic stories that involve the entire cast of GH. The last one, a bloodbath at Metro Court left fans riveted to their seats, and the current one, The Black & White Charity Ball, is promising to make the Metro Court look like child's play.
On the front burner right now; Nikolas Cassidine and Emily Quartermain. Currently, the tension surrounding Niklolas and Emily has more to do with Nik's problem of turning into "the hulk" than the romance of these two star-crossed lovers. Nik is one mean machine when he turns into his alter ego. But Emily believes her love can tame him so let's hope they survive the Charity Ball. There should be a lot of interesting stories in that strange love triangle; Emily, Nikolas and...Nikolas. But right now, the show's wild card is the evil character, mobster hit-man Anthony Zacarras, who's promised us a fairly high body count by the end of the Ball. In Port Charles at General Hospital, you just never know who'll get chopped by the writer's ax. The only thing predictable at GH is it's unpredictability.
It's probably the reason we keep watching.
