Does advertising have a future? Of course it does. We use advertising in our daily lives. We use it to shop for just about everything. If we need a new doctor and we see an advertisement for one, we check him out. A new soda comes out and we see the advertisement, we want to try the soda. Your teenager sees that her favorite store is having a sale, she must go. We see a new store opens up, we check it out. We need a lawyer, we look through the advertisements to see who would fit our needs best. We tend to look toward the advertisements without thinking about it. We take it for granted that they are there and always will be.
Whether or not a lot of people want to admit it, we enjoy advertisements. We don't think about it when we are using them. We even complain because there are so many. In the end, we don't realize how much more convenient they make our lives. We don't have to go to the store to find out what is new. The store comes to us. Our children can pick out Christmas toys without having to guess what might be on store shelves. They already know.
Like it or not, advertisements will be around for a long, long time. We will always rely on them so we can have a little more time to other things. Not everyone loves to shop. Some just want to stay home and spend time with the family.
