I'll tell you what it's like to cope with hardship in today's society, I am a mother of 3 teenagers whom are very intelligent, I have been married to my hard working husband for fifteen years. my husband works at a dead end company as a truck driver, he seldom gets any kinds of raises. I had two surgeries in 3 months that lead me to give up college , I wasn't doing very good but I still have to pay for my two surgeries and college to, that would add up to $3,200.
I was in a car accident about seven years ago that almost costed my life. God must have been watching over me on that day, because I didn't walk out of it. I was rushed to the hospital, and I had to get physical therapy for nine months. Till this day I have a pinch nerve in my neck, and another in my lower back. I was told that I need to find a job that I could sit and stand for half of the day.
well, I still haven't found that kind of job yet and probably wont either, but I still keep on being motivated. If I don't stay active, and relax my body when i can at any given time frame, what happens is that my hands and my feet will go numb. That's where writing all the time helps me with my body from getting numb. I have the freedom to get up and move around and sit down without anyone telling me not to do so.
I just gotten fired from the same company that my husband works at, I was told from another employee that I wasn't going to last long because our boss has vendetta feelings for my husband, I couldn't believe that a grown man would hate somebody so much that he would take things personal and take it out on somebodys elses wife.
We would have to go through the churches in our area to get food and christmas presents for our children every year, my children clothes they would have to wait for their own birthday in order to get any clothes for themselves. I would be cleaning my parents home to supply food for our children, my husband, and myself. although my husband worked, his checks would only cover our bills nothing more, and no matter how much over time he has worked our bills would always try to get paid.
Now, I am a beginner freelance writer trying to make some kind of money on line to help my family have a christmas this year, because if we can't go through the church this year, then I'll have to depend on my father whom is in his seventies and my pride hurts me way too much to do that. We probably wont have a Christmas this year at all. Money is just too tight for us, in order
