The greatest come back story of all time is one of someone who came back from the dead and lives here today in the world.
She died in 1945 with typhoid in a concentration camp after losing her sister to death and being separated from her mother who died in a another concentration camp.
Her father was the only one out the family of four who survived.
It is later after the war is over that a friend who helps this family when they were in hiding showed him diaries that his daughter had written. He copies the journals and passes it around to share with family and later they encourage him to have them published.
This is where this Jewish girl comes back to life in 1947 through the pages of this book written by her,
She comes alive in her writings to the whole world. She makes you see her life her pain her struggles and hope that she still finds in her heart as she is in hiding from the Nazi's for two years under conditions that most would falter in character but her character grows stronger and wiser.
Read these words written in her journal.
- I still believe, in spite of everything, that people are still truly good at heart. I simply can't build up my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion, misery and death. I see the world gradually being turned into a wilderness; I hear the ever approaching thunder, which will destroy us too; I can feel the sufferings of millions; and yet, if I look up into the heavens, I think that it will all come right, that this cruelty will end, and that peace and tranquility will return again. I must uphold my ideals, for perhaps the time will come when I shall be able to carry them out.
She doses have a time and place when she dose do this through her journals that are shared with the world today. She teaches the world the cruelty and sadness that had been suffered by the Jews. You want and wish and wonder why could not she had survive this war but then as you read from page to page you realize she did survive and in such a profound way she survives through her writing. She lives forever through her literature that was published. .
She will never be sad or suffer again. She will never shed a tear from sorrow. She will never feel pain or hunger ever again, She shall never be imprison again her soul will always be free.
Anne Frank lives again through the spirit of her book. This book was blessed to the world in 1947. It is published in 17 different languages and is read all around the world. It was made into a play which was even shown in Germany in the 1950's. Later it would become a motion picture.
It is also taught to students of all ages throughout the world today. Her place of hiding in Amsterdam is a monument for her. She will always be remembered and admired by so many. Her book will be read through generations ahead and is forever touched from the generations of the past who have read it. Her spirit lives in so many of us who have read her book and felt her pain, shared her happiness, her faith and great growth as a person. She teaches us that it is possible to die and to be born in this world again. We may not come back in the same physical body but our spirit can be born into something else something much stronger and far greater then it was before as she rises from the dead in spirit of her words.
