I most certainly love my husband.
Now, don't get me wrong. There is, at times, some broken glass on the primrose path. There are times when I look at that pile of smelly laundry by the bed, or the sink full of dishes, and I just want to choke him! But at the end of the day, I can't sleep without him next to me. He's not just the warm body in my bed, though; he's my true love, the father of my child, and the only man I've ever wanted. (Except for Marques Houston, but that's just infatuation.)

Marriage is complicated. People would be better prepared for this if they spent more time in pre-marital counseling, and less time picking out china patterns. You've got to pick your battles. So your husband didn't take the trash out. Stop and think before you club him with that iron skillet. Remember how he changed, dressed and fed the kids this morning?I try to look at the good things he does with as much scrutiny as I do his shortcomings, or even more so.
I try to have a weekly date night with my hubby. Even if we're broke, we'll just take a Netflix movie into the bedroom and snuggle, or bond over goofy videos on YouTube. Whatever it takes for us to come together for a few hours, we do it. It helps us remember why we fell in love in the first place: our mutual sarcasm and our undeniable physical attraction to each other.
So, no matter when you ask me, I will tell you I love my husband very much. I may, however, proceed to tell you how much I'd like to choke him at the moment.
