So many times the question dictates a wrong answer. Who is the most beautiful woman out of 1,000? It's your wife of course. Hence goes the argument sometimes about bible versions. It was nice that the question ask, version. Instead of whether it was the only inspired or inerrant English bible. Since it is true that it is a VERSION, that means there could be others equally correct and just as TRUE. The MODERN KJV (MKJV), the NEW KJV, (NKJV), both very faithful close to the KJV with the Middle English (usually called OLD) revised to common day usage words.

Disclaimer: Dear Friend, It is not my purpose to demean the bible one bit in this discourse. Translator errors yes. Bible NO.. I am NOT attacking the scripture here or it's true message. I am a literal six - 24 hour/day creationist, believe the world is only about 6,000 years old since Adam the first, and that there is no way to salvation (eternal life) except by grace through faith in the shed blood of the resurrected MESSIAH prophesied in the OT, fulfilled in the NT and believed upon according to God's record in those testaments without contradiction when rightly divided. But I must warn those of weak faith to consider my faith. Because I do not point out these things to weaken your faith. And it shouldn't if you seek for TRUTH as for silver and gold as the scripture tells us.

Actually I use the REAL KJV of esword mostly now, or some other electronic KJV text program since 1989. Now and before that I memorized out of the KJV and read, study, and preach out of the KJV. I am a bible collector and own over 40 English bibles so I'm not without comparison when I need it. But I do most of my study from Strong's Hebrew or Greek lexicons instead of worrying about some newer printed bible translations (versions).

WHY? Because most all my study helps are keyed to the KJVersion. Also by only reading, preaching, studying and memorizing out of the KJV. The Holy Spirit every easily brings scriptures back to my mind and I normally can very quickly find any verse I'm looking for (two words and a computer and 5 seconds). Now if you don't know the verse well enough to remember an exact word and it's spelling (some of the KJV words are still spelled differently) from our normal usage today. But after a few decades of regularly reading and memorizing, Elizabethan KJV English seems just as natural to you as your local Newspaper. At least it should.
