There are several ways to improve your action figure collection.

If you want to expand your action figure collection, you should looking beyond the normal haunts frequented by avid collectors.

Chances are, by the time you get to where you are going to begin your search, there won't be that much left to choose from.

Of course you can always just buy more new ones from the store, but that can can get expensive if you are considering a large collection.

Try those far off, out of the way places that most people won't bother to travel. Instead of going to the local antique shop, try looking up the listings for country auctions. You might be surprised what someone had hidden away in their attic for 30 or 40 years. They might be listed under "Estate sale," and that means you might find just about anything there.

Also, with the advent of the internet, online auctions are also a great way to expand your collection. If you are patient you might might just find some real bargains.

It can be a good idea to advertise in the local paper as well. You see ads all the time from collectors looking for sports cards and comic books. So why not put in your own ad for action figures? You might be able to purchase dozens at a time if someone is selling a collection.

I think it would be a smart idea to make it known to your family that you would love to have action figures for Xmas or birthday presents.

Check Google for any websites that are dedicated to action figure collectors. Possibly they have a section for buying, trading, and selling action figures. If you join, you might even be able to advertise for the type of action figures you are looking for.

Check collectibles magazines. Most will have a section for buying and selling your collectibles. You might have some luck there as well.
