Your sweetheart's birthday is coming up and you really want to wow' her with a romantic birthday gift. If you're stumped on what to get her, here are some great ideas for all kinds of girls and all kinds of budgets.

ON A BUDGET
If you want to impress your girlfriend, fiancee, or wife with a romantic birthday gift, but you are on a tight budget, consider the following options.

*Picnic. Take your girl to the park for a nice romantic picnic. Include some nice wine or champagne, make sandwiches, and lay in the afternoon sunlight eating cake. Whether you buy the food or make it doesn't matter, it's the effort you are putting into the display that really makes the difference. You lady is sure to love this whimsical idea.

*Romantic dinner. Sticking to the food theme, consider making your sweetheart a romantic, candle-lit dinner for two. You can stick to something basic, like pasta, or try your hand at more adventurous dishes. Top it off with some wine and great presentation and your sweetie is sure to be impressed. You can really take this idea and run with it, it's really up to you. Customize menus for her, dress the table with linens, and maybe hang some balloons are you're virtually guaranteed to hit a homerun.

*Frame. Grab one of your favorite pictures of the two of you. Take it to your local drug store or one-hour photo to have the print blown up. In many cases, photo technicians can also convert the pictures colors to black and white or sepia tones. Add special effects or simply blow up the picture and frame it. Wrap up the frame, include a personal, hand-written note telling her how much you love her, and you are good to go. You can even make a copy for yourself with a matching frame for your office or home.

*Scrapbook. Run with the photo idea and make your girl a scrapbook. Even if you've only got pictures from your different memorable moments, you can print out pictures of things that mean something to you both from your computer and glue them into the scrapbook. For example, if you met at karaoke, cut out some pictures of microphones and glue them around a picture of you two. Your girl is sure to appreciate the extra time and effort you put into making her something special for her birthday that means something to you both.

*Memory basket. If you can't decide on the "perfect" gift, make one. You can put anything and everything into a memory basket. Add the aforementioned scrapbook, a copy of the first movie you saw together, the chocolates you bought her on your
