If you are interested in becoming an advertising expert then there is no better field, in 2007, than the online advertising industry which, it should be noted straight away, is part of why and how you are reading this very article.

Online advertising has knocked out much of the former realworld advertising sector and continues to take a sizeable chunk out of the world's retail economy for itself as fees for selling so much stuff all day long all night long all over the world.

It is where the hugest fortunes are being made right now - for example Google, whose wealth is all created out of online advertising space sales by them to millions of companies, is one of the biggest companies in the world. A few Chinese oil barons remain ahead of us, but apart from that we've got the whole world licked.

So start a career in online advertising. As well as practical self-teaching (like setting up a Google adwords account and finding a product to sell, and just selling it) and buying books (like books about Google adwords, to begin with) you could get certification (eg Google adwords certification) and get a well-paid job simply using Google's keyword advertising system. With the profit you make from this you can invest in yourself and get the time to learn more, for example about where the point of sale is on the internet, and how you can go out and get a million customers a day, if you know where to look and what to look with.
