Two years ago I went to the local City Hall to do some business with the Mayor. Upon arriving at the community building, (which houses five different offices) I happened to notice that the signs on the overhang of the roof had peeling paint on both the background and the lettering. While I was waiting for the Mayor to arrive for our appointment the condition of these signs kept bothering me. I volunteered, during our meeting, to repaint them. This led to a whole new world of volunteerism for me.
That Christmas a friend asked me to paint a nativity scene on a sheet of plywood that was to sit in the city park. When it was discovered that I had some talent and was willing to help where needed, people began trying to recruit me. I eventually became a member of one of these non-profit committees.

She informed me that she had written the newspaper and that I needed to come to the office and enter it onto the computer so that we could print it Monday morning. I stated that I had been working on the paper for the past three weeks and it was all but complete. The lady sternly said, "I told you not to do anything with it till I was ready." I naturally knew at that point that this was going to be a bad situation.
Arriving at the office she handed me three sheets of paper that had a few scribbled notes on each. Each was of a particular topic. All of it was written in incomplete sentences and anything containing more than four letters was misspelled. I quickly learned that she expected me to turn these notes into articles bearing her name. As I was doing this for the community,
