There have been many people, over many years, debating over whether Global Warming, or Global Climate Change, is actually occurring. According to Al Gore and his movie "An Inconvenient Truth" there is no debate amongst scientists that this is occurring. According to this movie, it is an undeniable fact. However, there are many people that have found sources that say it is deniable, and is still merely a "theory" that has been warped through the media and politicians. Here and now, in an effort to discover the truth, I will attempt to solve this issue by looking at all of the facts I can find. Each one will be on either side of this proverbial coin, and each one will most likely contradict each other. I ask that you all keep an open mind about this topic, as the fate of our planet may or may not depend upon this issue.

First and foremost is the issue on whether or not the Ice Caps, and/or glaciers are melting as a result of the globe heating. Most people would say that the globe heating would be the first issue, but that doesn't seem to be in debate amongst the major league debaters, as opposed to how much it is. So, is the world's supply of ice melting? Our last supply of pure, fresh water? According to people that are for Global Warming's existence (http://www.worldviewofglobalw arming.org/pages/glaciers.html ), this is obviously occurring, and at an increasing rate. According to most people that following this climate change, the sun is heating the earth at an alarming rate, which is heating the water at the same rate, which is melting all of the ice, which is raising the sea level.

Now, on the other side of the coin, people are saying that the ice caps are not melting at the rate reported, and are actually going through a normal cycle that happens every so often on a planetary scale in the timeline. Unless you listen to these people (http://www.newsbusters.org/bl ogs/noel-sheppard/2007/08/03/g lobal-warming-myth-exposed-soo t-cooking-fires-melting-himala yan-glac), that obviously have no idea what CO2 is. According to this guy (P. Chylek, et al. 2004, "Global Warming and the Greenland ice sheet," Climate Change 63, 210-21) There are a few things changing in the climate, but it's not just that some glaciers are melting, but some are actually growing! Well, whether they are growing or melting, at least both sides have agreed that there is a change happening somewhere.
