These are the scariest movies I can think of.

1) JAWS

After I saw this movie, I was afraid to go into the bathtub. It is a genuine really scary horror film. You could go swimming and be attacked by a shark, it's a real horror, it's not made up like all of these fancy movies. You could have this happen to you. The shark looks so terrifying when it first appears, and all the times that it attacks people in the movie, you can't help but freak out. Don't see the sequels though, it totally ruins it.

2) ALIEN

OH MY GOSH! How sick would it be if you ate something, and then a parasite comes out of your stomach. I swear my eyes bulged out of my head and went to go hide under a blanket somewhere. It was such a genuinely scary moment in that movie, because it was so unexpected. Plus in all of the scenes with the Alien killing everyone off, you can't help but scream out when you see it attack.

3) SIGNS

Everyone laughs at me when I said that this movie really scared me, but it truly did. There are so many moments that make you jump. I was so afraid of shutting a TV off after I watched this movie. I will often look into the reflections of TVs or Computers to see if there is an alien standing there. It just really, honest to God scared me more than I could possibly imagine.

4) WHITE NOISE

Seeing the preview for this movie scared me enough. What would happen if we really could talk to the dead? It is such a scary concept to me. But hearing the gargled voice say "I love you" over and over again really scared me. Basically, this guy starts meddling with the power to control the voices that people hear that are dead people. Evil voices start coming through, another totally freaky movie.
