The newest trend today is Diets. Men and women are hooked on the latest drugs and the next best eating method. Personally I have fallen victim to the faze, therefore can comfortably hand over a bit of advice from what I've learned.
Let's start with diet clinics, those hole in the wall offices next door to the liquor stores and beauty salons. Yes I suppose they are good support groups. With their constant visits (about $40 each) and caring comments like "You look good since the last time I saw you...", even when we know it was just two weeks ago and we might have gained a pound if anything. Plus, if you have at one point, been a member you've probably met Mr. Mean vitamin B shot that only can be effective if injected into your buttocks. No joke to all you clinic virgins out there, they are painful, and looking back, not that effective. We can't forget the boarder line overdosing with water pills, calcium pills, energy pills, those pills to reduce your appetite, sometimes more, all having to be taken 2-3 times daily.
And now the stores are making it easier to access diet drugs. You can find them in any store ranging from markets to malls. You have choices between Hoodia, Hydroxycut, Alli, Zantrex, Slimquick, Phentermine, and so on and so forth, all promising the same thing, 'Buy this product to kill your appetite, burn fat, and look great in just three weeks without exercise or losing your favorite foods.'
I can speak from a pill poppers point of view, if you don't lift yourself up off the couch, take anything you want and all you'll be is a diet drug junkie. Of course you need to watch what you eat, but don't cut off you bodies food supply, it's all about portion control. Make yourself run, forget that pill to set your body into motion. And if your where I was, where running was just too difficult and even hurt your legs at times, WALK! Power walking can be very effective, to burn fat your need to increase your cardio, and as long as your huffing and puffing your getting the job done.
