We are nearing the era of yet another Internet revolution; an era which will propel the world as we know it into a totally different dimension; and a world which one day will no longer know hunger or greed or poverty' enter the world of 'real-time' delivery of hard materials!
It is something that both modern man and scientist alike have pondered for years; the ability to literally 'teleport' goods from one place to another within the blink of an eye.
I believe we have reached the age within which that very concept will become a reality.
A series of billions of under-ground cables, that would instantly transport goods from one end of the universe, right to the other. It is a long time in coming!
So, what exactly are the implications of having this invaluable piece of high tech computer genius? Well as the quite rightly stated, the third world and it's dying populations could be spared of losing another family member. Hungry children with swollen stomachs would have food available at the mere touch of a button. And no longer would they morn the parents that make them
orphans.
And if indeed my theory stand true; I could never think of any better use for a new media tool; saving children's lives.
