RESEARCH YOUR MARKET AND GET IT RIGHT!
They are the first two considerations ANY bulk mailer should be taking into account when it comes to being responsible and grown up about mass market mailings! ( ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE DELIVERING
MATERIAL CONTAINING ADULT CONTENT!). I can not stress this enough!
For example, (though probably unlikely), who would like the idea of their child or teen receiving something containing pornography? Or anything else explicit and NOT to be seen by the eyes and minds of juveniles?

So, how do we avoid it? Simple. There are 'list brokers' from whom we can purchase details of consumers aged between a certain bracket. Better still, many people have deliberately filled out market research surveys, highlighting the goods or services they are seeking to acquire within the next, say, twelve months or so. Not only are you ensuring that you are reaching the right target market for your industry, but also ensuring, as much as possible, that the list of email addresses to which you are about to target your mailing, are responsible adults. And it is these people who are capable of making an informed business decision; shall they buy YOUR companies services or not?!

Apart from the whole topic of the leakage of in-appropriate material to young people, the fact remains, that if you are serious about making your business a success in the first place, it is worth going that extra mile to know that you are acting responsibly, buying from a REGISTERED or licensed broker, and NOT Jo Bloggs who does not care a toss about who he bombards. Even worse, with what!

So give it a go. You never know; you could be laughing, all the way to the bank!
