Placing wind chimes for feng shui

Placing Wind chimes for feng shui, along with other objects, colors and shapes help enhance areas to attract more positive results in different areas of your life. Feng Shui,(pronounced fung shway) is described as "Purposefully arranging the stuff around you to gain positive results".
Wind chimes aid the chi (energy) in your home to move freely, but not so quickly as to rush through your home. It also is helpful in situations when the chi(energy) in a room seems to be stagnate.

If for example you are trying to enhance your career/life path area, place a metal wind chime outside your front door to bring attention to yourself. Making sure the chime is on the non-hinged side of the door frame.
There are other areas that you may want to place chimes to enhance different energy levels in your life.
Hanging straight metal chimes at your front door will help to slow the chi(energy) down as it enters your home.
It is said that if you have a cluttered room to hang a wind chime in that room, make sure it rings often. This will loosen the "stuck" energy in the room and the clutter-clearing efforts will increase.
Wind chimes can be used indoors or outdoors, as stated above in the two examples. But be careful to match the size of the chime to the size of the room! You wouldn't want to use a large chime in a small room and have its effects be overwhelming. A smaller one in a larger room may have no effect at all!
Wind chimes can be soothing, or annoying. So when choosing a wind chime for your home, whether it is for a feng shui or just for the pleasure of the sound, make sure it is a tone that is pleasing to you.
