What makes a good commercial on TV

There's a legend in the Pacific northwest who made his television debut in an episode of The Six Million Dollar Man. He made such a huge impression that he hit the big screen a few years later in Harry and the Hendersons. Our TV star's seeming rise to fame and fortune burned out as suddenly as it came, and we've heard very little of him over the past twenty-five years or so. Guess what? He's back, and if you're smart you won't mess with him.

Of course I'm talking about Sasquatch, and he's now in the employ of Jack Links Beef Jerky! When an 8' tall, 600 lb. man ape is standing twenty feet away, your best bet is to pay your respects and back away slowly. Grizzlies fear to tread in the big guy's neighborhood, but it seems like them ol' boys at Jack Links have found a bunch of dimwitted yahoos who feel otherwise. Perhaps the funniest thing about these commercials is that man, the self-proclaimed most intelligent species on the planet, comes out second best in these hilarious encounters.

Messin' with Sasquatch. You have to be kidding me. Who in their right mind would reflect sunlight in his eyes when he's fishing? If you do that to the baddest creature on the planet, your apt to be hit in the face with a fish! And then there's the flaming "dung" bag! This is a kid's Halloween prank. Do it to the king of the redwood forest, and you may wind up ducking a two-hundred pound boulder as it rockets into your canoe! Man, I tell ya, it seems like these idiots are never going to learn!

Here's a piece of advice. If you see our big, hairy pal hitchhiking, give him a ride. Make a friend. As we all know, Sasquatch is much smarter, stronger, and faster than the bozos who play games with him. No, on second thought, not all of us know this. With that in mind, I'm definitely looking forward to the next wave of Jack Links Beef Jerky commercials. They are the funniest thing to hit the tube in years.
