Definition:The condition or fact of being associated or connected
This can mean almost anything. It still leaves a wide opening for us left to interpret.When you look up relationship the related words are analogy , proportion , tie , liaison , affinity , affiliation , intimacy , and affair.
What does a relationship mean to you, or better yet when someone says the word relationship what do you think of? Some think of an adulterous affair, others a long lost friend.

I think of the word relationship,&I think of various things. Such as my relationship with my children. This a a relationship founded on love. My relationship with my co-workers. This is a relationship founded on practicality, and my relationship with my husband this is a relationship founded on respect.
Then there's high school were relationship was given a whole new meaning. No, not your first sweetheart. Math, Biology, and Chemistry just to name a few. How many times were you asked; What's the relationship between these two compounds, numbers, or DNA strands.
You have various relationships in your life. The word relationship can be used in so many instances that this could go on all day. So, next time you hear the word relationship ask yourself what type, and how many different ways can I use the word relationship to describe everything in my daily life.
