If you want to find the perfect romantic gift for her then you need to think outside the box a little and not go for that which is obvious. A bunch of flowers or a box or chocolates is way too impersonal and requires little thought on your part. You need to be able to give her something which no-one else would give her and that is special to her personally. So how do you go about this? The following are some ideas to give you a head start and to possibly solve your present hunting problems.
1. Listen carefully to what she tells you. Women often try to drop hints about what they would really like as a present in to conversation. Most men totally miss the point of what is being said and instantly forget it.
To gain brownie points as well as present ideas be open to hearing when she drops those hints and act on the information given.
The hint may come in the form of a remark about how beautiful another woman's scarf or perfume is. Instead of letting this gem ride straight over your head jot it down in a notebook when she isn't looking so that you remember it.
2. Make the gift personal and put in effort. If for example you want to buy her jewelery, but cant afford diamonds and pearls, have a piece of silver jewelery made especially for her. You may find that it is less expensive than you imagined to do this and it will show that you have had input in to what the present actually is rather than just buying something which anyone could have.
3. Remember that the gift doesn't have to be something which you can hold. It could be a wonderful day out somewhere special or a love-song which you have written and which you sing to her at a romantic meal. It could be a poem or something which you have made that you know that she will appreciate such as a pagoda in the garden where you can sit and tell her how much she means to you.
4. Set the scene. By this I mean that you could take her somewhere romantic to present her with her gift. Think about timing. Shoving her gift into her hands whilst she is rushing around getting the children ready for school in the morning is not as effective as waiting until all is peaceful when she can appreciate her present.
5. Lastly, most women love beautifully wrapped presents. I have been given presents which I am not so fond of, but been really grateful for them anyway when they have been wrapped in a pretty and thoughtful manner.
Delicate handmade paper and matching ribbons are lovely and if suitable you could have rose petals or little stars inside the wrapping which glisten and surprise her as she opens the package up.
