I whisper softly,
Surely,
Now I have gone
The memory lingers
Soft touch of my fingers,
On your life and soul
Forget me not'
I say to you,
Have faith,
Through times of pain
Through years of strife,
Dispose of the knife
That cuts you so
Forget, me not'
For I am here
Loving,
Gentle,
Kind, my dear
By your side forever
Watching, helping,
I endeavor
To keep you safe, from harm.
And when the time comes
For you to move on,
Ill watch from a distant
But, never be completely gone,
