Relationships are fun and yet hard at times. You can choose every relationship in this universe except the relationship with your parents. The most important relationship you will have is with your parents. When you stop and think about it, this relationship you are with for life and you can never change it. Scary isn't it? You are in this world because of the relationship your mother had with your father. If they stopped loving each other they can divorce. Can you divorce your parents, I don't think so. Why you can't divorce your parents? The simple reason you didn't marry them. Relationships, other than your family relationship you can choose. This gives you a feeling of control and being in the drivers seat.

Being in the drivers seat of your life seems exhilarating and seems like a definite thing. The relationship you have with the day is there whether you like it or not. The sun will always come up even if you did not want to wake up today. This relationship is another one beyond your drivers seat.

Relationships with people is where you have the control of your life going on. It's you who decides everything in your life especially when it comes to relationships. When you begin your career, you meet people. People are everywhere. People are at the supermarkets, parks, schools, malls, and in your life. Pets or animals too are one you can have relationships with and they help you along the journey of life.

We begin relationships with pets or people and are in total control of the situation! We pick the people and pets we like to have a relationship with and no one else has any say so in it. "I" am in control with my life especially when it comes to relationship.

Just as with our parents whom we cannot ever chose, people who just happen to be in your working place, pets that at the moment you decided to get a pet from the mall or Humane Society, and people just happen to be at the park the same time you are, people who just happen to go to the same school as you, and were born the same time as you living at the same era as you in history do you have to pick from to have a relationship with at this time in history. Being in the control of your life is basically what relationships are about aren't they?
