I think Helium should hire staff who's duty is to rate articles.

They must remain unbiased and what not, but the rating system as it is now is fraught with inconsistencies.

Because someone likes an article because it touches their heart but the quality is atrocious as compared with the article that is less touching but more informative and better quality...

My point is the community which is us who are rating articles are not qualified to rate articles so that the best rises to the top.

I do not mean we are not all qualified or able, but it should not be our job to sift through the countless articles. Helium.com, this is your business, listen to your affiliates.
The rating system is off, doesn't work well, and I am beginning to think I am wasting my time.

My goal is to get feedback by actually seeing my articles move since that is the only way to know there is activity going around my article.

There needs to be a third party wholly indifferent to the members and such be as objective as possible as actually rate articles on how good they are.

I have written what I believe to be good pieces of work, yet they just sit there doing nothing.

Something needs to be worked out for this business of Helium.com to work. The rating system is inefficient and ineffective. Please do something about so the ones who are attempting to succeed have a legitimate opportunity.
