'What is the secret of success, sir?' the question I have been asked over and over again. One of my main passion in teaching is to find out how students who have been successful in school did it. What I have discovered is that there is no straight forward answer to this question.
Each successful individual do a combination of things that worked for them. Some revise things they have leaned in the same day. Others like to take down notes and make further research and readings and add on to the notes they have made. There are others that work in discussion groups or learning buddies. So there is really no definite method or way to achieve success. The important thing is, you are doing something. You are spending time going over what you have learned. Treat your brain like a muscle. The more you use it the better it becomes. The moment you stop using it then it becomes sluggish. It doesn't matter what you are learning, constant practice and contact with the materials you are learning will ensure success.
Finally, I would like to share with you something I have picked up a long time ago. To achieve success in anything stick to 'ASK'
A - Attitude. You need develop the right attitude in whatever you are trying to achieve
S - Skills. Develop skills that would help you to achieve success
K - Knowledge. Gather the knowledge you need to achieve the success.
