Lets be frank, if it tastes bad people are not going to eat it for long. There is only so much cardboard people are willing to chew on in the name of good health.
Both nutritional value and taste are important factors for health food, but when forced to pick on, taste wins. Taste is what keeps consumers coming back for more. Low calorie dressings, high in flavor are popular. People will much on them not just because they are good for them, but mostly because they taste good.
Cutting out the junk food allows you to begin really tasting and appreciating healthy food. Enjoy the cool sweet burst of biting into a cherry tomato, the crisp crunch of baby carrots or cucumbers and the refreshing taste of Adam's Alecool revitalizing water.
It is important to distinguish between what tastes good to your body and what excites your taste buds. A whole bucket of milk duds may pass the taste bud test, but they are going to leave your body feeling uncomfortable and sluggish.
Good nutrition does not equal tasteless meals. Succulent fresh vegetables and lean meat can create amazing meals. Nature's fast foods, fish, vegetables and fruit are quick and easy to prepare as well as being full of flavor and appeal.
Health food should taste good passing the lips and also leave you feeling more invigorated and alive. They also have the added benefit of landing less heavily on the hips.
