Birthday parties for 60 year olds, interesting topic especially for the catergory being pregnancy and parenting.I am still a young thing so I'm not sure if anyone will like my ideas however I'll give it the old college try. Lets see first off you should take into account the person's mental state, medical state, some may have certain diet needs etc.
After you have that taken care of you can start with the fun. I would personally go with a mature somewhat classy party, it doesnt have to cost and arm and a leg but you can still make it beautiful. I would put lots of roses pink and orangeish gold colors, play some music from their youth and some soft rock from now, invite absolutely everyone, have the 60 year old tells stories about his or her life and maybe a little dancing as well. You could also decorate with old pictures of when he or she was younger, have them printed in a beautiful sepia tone. There are cakes you could get pictures printed on you could have the frosting be in warm colors with roses to match the theme and have a really nice picture of him or her on the top of the cake, maybe it could be a nice vacation picture or possibly a family picture.

This party idea would actually work for any senior citizen female, for a male you could do it in more of an antigue wood or perhaps a fishing theme.
