DAY DREAMING ABOUT YOU AND ME

I sit here day dreaming alone in my room,
Wondering about you,
If we'll ever have a chance, and if it will be soon.

You say you think of me as just a friend,
But your eyes tell so much more,
I don't know if it's all just fun and games,
Or if your afraid to open your heart, to open that door

I just want a chance to show you how it could really be,
I think you want to be with me and your just scared,
Or you might not care at all, and it's just what I want to see,

It's hard for me to spend time with you,
We're always laughing and having fun,
But in the end my heart just hurts,
Because I want to be with you, like the sky with the sun,

So I sit here day dreaming about you and me,
Wondering if I'm in this fairy tale alone,
Or if it's leading somewhere; it all remains for me to see.

Thinking about how it could be with us together, just you and me,
The potential we have and the times we've shared,
It's seems like just a big game, and I just want you to see.

I tried so hard not to tell you, how I really feel,
But now it's out and it hasn't changed a thing,
I hear you say all this stuff, and I'm not sure what is real.

All I know is that my heart hurts, and I am not sure what to do,
I can't keep going on like this, putting my feelings out there,
And all along leaving my happiness up to you.

One day your here with me, and acting all sweet,
It's like I'm in a different world with you around,
Then your gone and I don't talk to you for a week.

I should have known how this would be all along,
But I was day dreaming that it could be something special,
You and me together, not just another sad love song.

I look into your eyes and see so much,
We lay in the bed, sometimes just cuddling,
And you make me quiver at every touch.
