I feel the threat of fall
As leaves clutter the ground
But I still cannot believe
What I'm hearing...that sound.
I visit every mall
I go to department stores
It's not even Halloween
So you can imagine my horror.
I shop the local K-Mart
I frequent the Target stores
I hear it at Wal-Mart
Yule-tide Friggin whores!
Christmas music in October
Santa waving with glee
While two aisles over
Are Trick Or Treat costumes staring at me.
Long before we chop off
Our Thanksgiving Turkey's head
Christmas Carols are playing
Commercialism isn't dead!
