How can we save the human species

BEES HAVE THE ANSWER IF WE WILL LISTEN

Have you heard about the soon to be released animated film, THE BEE MOVIE, produced and directed by the very famous Jerry Seinfeld in cooperation with visionary Steven Spielberg? It focuses our attention on the honey bee like the movie HAPPY FEET about the Emperor penguins.

Have you heard about the phenomenon that the honey bees are disappearing at alarming rates? They aren't dyingthey are just disappearing! Scientists have no clue as to what is happening or where they are going? All of a sudden we are being made aware of bees in a big way.

Bees are a big deal because their pollination of crops insures the growth of 30-40% of our fruits and vegetables. Without enough bees our food source would be reduced to eating grains that are pollinated by wind alone. This is a very depressing thoughtunless you love gruel and corn meal mush burgers.

We need to become aware of how the little honey bee is symbolic of how our life works here on Planet Earth. Bees leaving is a message that something is not working and needs fixing.

Honey has always been symbolic of the healing power of joy that is created from within us. The bee creates it within its body from the pollen of flowers. The bee has also been symbolic of Spirit, which selflessly and tirelessly transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary and suffering into joy from within us. The self-sacrificing cooperation of the hive itself is phenomenal and almost other-wordly. The bees dance to communicate what a divine idea!

Since 3,000 B.C. honey and royal jelly has been considered the "nectar of the gods". The healing properties of honey, and even bee venom, are phenomenal and unmatched by any other natural substance on Planet Earth. Egyptians embalmed the dead with honey because they believed it held resurrection power. Jesus' first meal after his resurrection was a honeycomb. John the Baptist lived on locusts and wild honey.

The organization of the Hive of the honey bee is a symbol of selfless giving of oneself for the growth and good of the whole hive. Cooperation is the whole modus operandi (MO). There is literally no competition. Sharing the best flowers, caring for the
