Which is more important when it comes to health food: Taste or nutrition?

If you ask all the thousands of obese people in the United States of American that question they would undoubtedly say taste. As long as it tastes good who cares about the calories or the saturated fats that are in a triple Whopper. It is pretty obvious that a lot of people feel that way. The United States of America has more morbidly obese people than any other country in the world. Diabetes is caused a lot by being overweight and I am sure that contributed a lot to mr having type II diabetes. I know it has sure changed my out look on taste versus nutrition. Just over eating is unhealthy even if it is nutritious

Nutrition is much more important than taste if you really care about your health and your future, Grilled fish and grilled chicken are a lot more nutritious than fried fish or chicken. Even at that fish and poultry are better for you than beef and pork. That is not to say that you should not eat beef or pork but have a 6 oz steak instead of a 22 oz steak or divide the 22 oz steak into three meals.

Eat a lot of fruit and vegetables. Most vegetables you can have all you want and not have to worry about to many carbs or to many calories. Use low fat or fat free dressings or use fresh lemon juice on your salads. You will be shocked at how easily it is to lose that weight and get a lot more healthy. Of course you need to get your exercise too. They say that to maintain you need to walk 10,000 steps a day and to lose weight you should walk 12,000 plus.

Nutrition is definitely more important than taste but it sure is hard to convince a lot of people of that fact.
