I am shocked and astounded that more people would vote otherwise than yes! The world is become a strange and terrible place. Marriage has always been a divine institution devoted to the love of a man and a woman, not a woman and a woman, not a man and a man. While that famous quote says that "the truth shall set you free", some will not acknowledge the truth. Some wish to keep to their own ways, instead of doing what is morally right. I could care less for the personality or temperament of the homosexual person. Homosexuality is immoral. That is final, and always will be. I am shocked that any Christian minister would actually join two of the same sex. Outrageous! While the bible and science do not always agree, this is one point where they do. There is no science behind the homosexual mind. Two of the same sex cannot reproduce. If all of the heterosexuals suddenly disappeared, the homosexuals would die out, being against sciences laws and theories. The Bible, though it teaches kindness and compassion to our fellow men (is not to be interpreted literally) is absolute in its rules about marriage and sexuality. There is no place for a gay person in the Bible and no place in professional science. In a verse from the Old Testament, the Bible clearly states that those who bed with the same sex will be put out; they will not be welcome in normal society. Gaining the right to marry is an unnatural thing for a gay person. It is trying to give the same rights as the married man and woman to two of the same sex. Entirely irrational. I cannot even wrap my mind around this concept fully, I find it so repulsive. How in the name of God's green earth has this sort of trouble been let to happen? If I had any money, I would pay someone to give me a valid explanation that is supported by government, Christianity, and science, as to why this is. It is impossible, the three rarely agree on anything, and I am sure that they would not agree on this. Our government is secular. Our science is secular. But the most surprising thing of all is that Christianity is becoming secular. I am waiting for some monstrous thing to happen that will set the many against my religion. I am sure that it is to happen. This "same-sex" marriage thing will take part in this, I am sure.

In final, I wish to convey my apologies for not being able to apologize to anyone who might have been offended by this work. I find my truths in the Bible. Dispute them if you will. Even as the saying goes "the truth shall set you free", so there is another, famous quote "you can't handle the truth". Ponder the implications of this quote, and please, try to think past the movie in which it was said. I will apologize for nothing. And as a side note, I harbor no ill-feelings for those who accept an "alternate lifestyle", but I must object to the defilement of a sacred bond. I am no scholar, no preacher, or scientist, but I will not falter in my rebuking of things that are not good. I do know what is not good, and what is good. Question my will as you wish. It will remain steadfast to my God and my country.
