What are we talking about here? Are we talking about denying a person a right to eat, sleep or to get a job. Illegal immigrants are not being denied any of these things. At my own place of work, most of the cleaners are in this country illegally. They are being paid under the table. The corporation hiring these people are criminals by cheating the USA out of its tax dollars. When one of these immigrants gets fatally ill or injured and then rushed to the hospital. Who is going to have to put up the bill, or pay the insurance claim on that terrible car accident? The American people will pay when the premiums sky rocket. Illegal immigrants are trying to have their cake and eat it to. The truth is though, you have to pay your dues. In America you have to obey the laws that were written by the very politicians that legal US citizens voted into office.
My ancestors were immigrants who came to this country with pennies. They went through the process at Ellis Island and they to had a rough time adjusting to the American way. Telling someone that they have to follow the rules is not a human rights issue. It is a safety issue. The rules are in place to protect the U.S citizens whether they were born here or not.
The country has to address the issue as if they were dealing with a criminal matter. If you are here illegally, than you must leave and re-enter the legal way. The country also has to sit down and talk with the countries like Mexico where most of the illegal immigrants are coming from. They need to have real discussions and make real policies. A universal policy.
The U.S needs to take a serious look on why these illegal immigrants are coming here in the first place. Deal with those countries and help them get there acts in order. Because it is in those countries where the citizens human rights are the issue.
