A special thank you to anyone who has been in Iraq. There are many who know that you keep our country safe, you help people over there gain rights that many people here take for granted. Woman especially, and not the right to kill their own baby, but the right to go to school, the right to vote, the right to be able to disagree with their husband and not be pushed around for daring to do so. Speak to any woman who comes from these countries where the man is still King and the woman is his slave.
I'm not saying it does not happen in America, but it is unheard of to be treated so badly and there are many organizations that would not allow this to happen. Sometimes a woman here may have mental problems or think they love their man too much and will change him, but that is not the norm. A man and a woman should compliment each other and in most cases here in America we do, not like in many other parts of the world. In America very few of us would ever teach our children to be human bombs and if we did we would spend the rest of our lives in prison.
Anyone who would ask a service man how many people they killed should first think about and then answer how many babies they have allowed to be killed here in America, by their silence and/or agreement in allowing abortion to remain a part of the law we live by. They should take a survey and see how many people have been killed in our war on drugs here in America.
As a widow of a disabled vet from being injured in Korea, I must say that it is the people who constantly knock our government who ever give me sorrow that my husband passed from his disability received in Korea. He was a proud veteran, never sorry he served in Korea, he saw how the people there had to live and was never sorry he served, our nephews were never sorry they served in Viet Nam and my great nephew has no regrets because he served in Iraq and may go back. How many of the people who ask such horrible questions have ever served or had people serve in other countries granting them the freedom to ask such a question from the military. I would bet if they asked that question of a terrorist or a military person in Cuba or China, they would be put in prison. They would not even be allowed to march in protest. Again I than all of you who serve our country with such honor and bravery.
At least in any war our military are killing in self defense, most of you don't just walk around killing others without being attacked first, at least I hope so. Some may lose it because of what you may see being done to our people by the enemy and most of them are cruel and cut up our people all over their bodies or torture them without any mercy or guilt. Many people here do not realize that if we were not there they would be here [which they are] but they would be performing more horrific acts than they did on September 11, 2001 or December 7, 1941.
