Over the past years, the environment has been depleting at a faster rate due to the increase in human population and activities in the world. This problem of environmental pollution and degradation has become a very important issue which has raised a lot of concern all over the world, especially in countries where industrial activities and human population is high. Environmental pollution can be placed into three main categories; namely, Water, Air and Land Pollution. Water pollution reefer's to mainly the pollution to water bodies, the Air pollution also reefer's to the release of toxic gases or fumes into the atmosphere while Land pollution which going to be our main focus in this essay is the release of harmful or non-biodegradable substances onto the surface of the earth.
When these harmful substances are released into the environment in large quantities, they cause a lot of harm and that is when pollution takes place. The disposing of trash produced by humans or through human activities have become a matter of great concern for governments of many countries. Trash or waste management can be divided into three processes. These are the collection of the waste and how they are finally disposed. After a careful analysis, I personally think the best option is to burn. Yes I agree that process will cause some amount of air pollution but let us not also forget burying can also cause land pollution. Now why do I take this stand? You would agree with me that in these present days, most of the waste or trash produced in our homes and offices are non-biodegradable although some are. Now if we are to use the burying process, it means
