Should we begin Helium articles by repeating the articles title?
I think that by NOT including the title of the article it makes the articles seem unfinished in my opinion. As you can see from the first line of this article and probably the majority of the articles I have submitted to Helium, I side step around this by restating the title as a question at the top of the article and then starting the next paragraph as my answer to that question - yes, no or maybe.
I know, I know, this may come across as cheating but it helps me focus to have the theme of the article as the first line. Besides, f I were to take an article I have written and submit it for publication elsewhere, either on the internet or in print, I would have to add a title to it in order for it to be taken seriously and not look like I was rushing to get an article finished and out to a publisher. A publisher would probably take one look at any untitled article they receive and toss it in the reject pile because it would seem unfinished. Publishers often look at the article's title to see if it's content would even be anything they would want to publish. If they are lookin for article of interest to "Baby Boomers" and my article is about children's health it would be a waste of their time to read it at all, wouldn't it?
