There is nothing in this world,
Like a daughters love.
It is a special gift,
Sent from heaven above.

As a baby it can be seen,
Shining brightly in her eyes.
The love and trust in her smile,
As your voice or touch quietens her cries.

As the years pass,
And your little girl grows.
It is in her hugs and kisses,
The way she 'helps' that her love shows

As a teen you may wonder,
If she loves you at all.
But you are often reminded,
When she has problems, and it's on you she calls.

At 17, my baby girl Sami,
Shows her love in so many ways.
Especially in her voice,
When she calls, it always brightens my days.

Her love for me extends to the man who has my heart,
He is the Daddy she has always dreamed of.
And even though he no longer wants me in his life,
He still has 'his daughters' love.

A daughters love is unending and unconditional,
It is a special bond unlike any other.
A gift to be treasured, to be honored,
I am so proud to be Sami's mother.
