Gossip Girl is bound to be a hit show. The cast is abosultely gorgeous and the script is complicated, mysterious, and full of drama.

The show starts out with Serena returning from boarding school. She ran away, without telling anyone, because she slept with her best friend's boyfriend. Her best friend, Blair, is upset that she didn't say bye and even more upset that she slept with her boyfriend, Nate. Their relationship continues along a bumpy rollercoaster ride of emotions and revenge.

Nate is still not completely over Serena and that will definitely come into play more throughout the show. In the latest episode he approaches Jenny, mistaking her for Serena, and tells her that he's not over her then kisses her. Unfortunately, he's got the wrong girl and Jenny looks like she's going to tell Blair what happened, only unfolding the drama.

Dan, Jenny's brother, otherwise known as "Lonely Boy," becomes Serena's new love interest. He's sweet and down to earth, what else could a girl look for? He is a bit awkward and dorky, but that only makes him more attractive, not only in my eyes, but Serena's as well. However, Nate is bound to complicate this romantic relationship with his feelings for Serena still up in the air and unresolved. Also, Dan's economic status might have an effect on their relationship. Serena's mother obviously doesn't want her to be involved with Dan and might step in and take control of the situation for her benefit, not Serena's.

Jenny is bound and determined to make it into Blair's popular, elite world. She gets clever though and starts to take the whole intiation thing into her own hands and surprises Blair. Jenny could get herself into some trouble by getting sucked into the high world of fashion, money and fame though. Though, it seems that Eric, Serena's brother, might keep her grounded if their attraction for one another continues to florish.

Chuck, Nate's best friend, is pretty much a player. He adores his weath, good looks, and any woman who will sleep with him. Personally, I think he's a slob and is only looking for trouble.

Let's just say this is a very brief overview of the characters, I don't want to give it all away. Overall, the show seems promising and for more information check out The CW website, www.cwtv.com.
