Eyes is the mirror of your soul. We see our great beautiful environment thru it. without our eyes there is almost nothing. Our eyes is one of the most delicate part of our body system and the following will help us maintain and care of our eyes:
.) It needs essential nutrients, i.e. vitamin A. yellow vegetables e.g. squash, corn, milk, liver meat, carrot are some of the natural sources of this eye vitamin. You may also resource from ready made vitamins such as multi vitamin capsules (especially natural one) from shops and pharmacies.
.)It needs rest. even machines needs rest so do our natural eyes. it needs atleast the length of our sleeping time ( 7 or 8 hours at night.) and on work or any activity breaks, at least half or an hour eye rest.
.) Eyes are delicate. so applying or putting any substance on it must be thoroughly examined such as eye creams or ointments, drops, or any chemical for eye care or treatment.
.) When it gets eachy, don't rub it. you may wash it with natural clean water or just take a short nap for it may be needing rest. A pure natural clean light eyedrops from drugstore may help.
.) Avoid, as much as possible, reading while on a moving vehicle. This makes the eyes have a hard time visioning or focusing and eventually affects its sharpness and health.
.) Avoid, as much as possible, Reading while another light is striking your eyes. In other words, it is always ideal to read, especially in the dark or night time, reading under a lamp shade lighting what you are reading and nothing to your eyes.
.)Eyeglasses, contact lenses, Sunglasses must be certifiedly corrected by eye professionals i.e optometrist or optalmologists. At present, there are plenty in the market being sold such as sunglasses which did not got through to a scientific laboratory testing ( UV protection, etc.) and eventually make you feel a bit dizzy or heaviness in your vision.
.) Crying is hurtfull to the heart but healthy to your eyes. when you cry, the tears naturally cleanses your retina and your eyes as a whole, so next time you cry, remember, part of it is good to you.
.) When the day is getting late, i.e. nighttime enters, do not force your eyes reading something under the natural light of the day making your eyes grasp for more light in order to make a bright reading, and eventually losses its natural reading capability.
.) Have your eyes regularly checked by a proven eye professional like monthly or quarterly.
Again, possessing a bright vision or eyesight is almost 60 percent essential to enjoy life to the fullest.
