Songs: Loneliness

San Andreas Fault Just Ate Up The Entire Country Of France.

Great, just what I needed
Another tornado to suck up the wills of patrons
Oh, I've been left for dead in the desert
And these vultures aren't making waterfalls run any faster

The grass is always greener when you're lonely
But the dead ones know all the secrets

Armageddon has a sick way of tasting like fire
The roofs and shattered glass line sidewalks, heart shocks
"The seizures have been coming on more and more frequently"

I've been ready for the past year and a half
Whoever said the ends justify the means was just looking for a loophole
Hypocrite, come and confuse the masses
We will cover this city in a thousand pounds of emotion
The skies bleed snow, ash lines all eyes
All eyes on the ground, fountains pour sour feelings

I won't forget my lessons learned
I will stand, but we can't take them all
Overpowered and outweighed that's how I like it
I scream until the sun falls out of the sky
Maybe three and four summers rays take the lights

The most deafening of sounds is only here to make your ears bleed
And I will sit on the moon and watch the liars feed
Chew on this, the flag stands at half-mast
The dead and the forgotten stand in the mirrors of the past
Off-color secrets and off-beat rhythms, what is this world coming to?
Deuces, all around goes the gamblers of the faraway lands
I call out to the seamen and ask for the life of all fair and justice
Have you ever seen a shark's eyes?
Or when the jungle comes back to life?
Did you know you can't die with your eyes open
I lay the coins for remorse

Close the casket, I cannot bear to see his face
Don't kid yourself about this sore subject
Addiction leads only to self-pity
