'Your mama couldn't buy you a pair of shoes last year,she's so poor that she's doing something horrible to send you to school',they all burst into laughter.many times,we get annoyed with our peers,we do not know whether we are right staying with them or not.it's JUST LIKE AN ADAGE Which says 'Money spoils the true eyes of friendship',if we are to reflect on this,how how true is it?can two true friends disagree,quarrel and then kill one another all because of money?Should we classify friendship at this point?Who really is a friend?

Before I continue,I would like to let you know who a friend is not;
[1]A friend is not someone who insults or abuses you,no matter what happens
[2]A true friend is not someone who always find fault in things you do
[3]A true friend would not make jest of you in the presence of those who do not know both of you deeply
[4]A true friend does not find it difficult to understand you,even if you are not well understood by others.
In view of these,we can say who a true is:
A true friend identifies who you are,you do not need to say one thing over and over again.He knows who you are.That of course is one of the things he saw in you before he started a relationship with you.When he noticed your approach,he drew closer and then studied you more,consequently,he got you as his friend.When a friend finds it difficult to to understand almost everything you say,that person is not your true friend.
A true friend takes risks for you no matter what the situation of things may be.Tunde and Hakeem claim that they are friends,they live in the same room,in one of the school's halls.One day,Tunde became 'broke' and he looked up to Akeem for help,but Akeem did not have much,he only had fifty Naira on him.Fifty Naira if well spent could last for two days.Tunde asked Akeem if he could get some help.Akeem said he couldn't give him,that the money he had was not enough for him not to talk of giving Tunde.From this illustration are they really true friends?
A true friend takes risks for his fellow friend.Two people when they are called friends are bind together on the fact that 'for better for worst'.When you have your friendship has 'when you do not have,your friend does not have.The truth is that if you have someone as a friend and the person does not take certain risks for you,take care.
