Marijuana is an addictive drug found on the Cannabis sativa plant. This substance has become a major problem in the world. More and more people are finding ways to grow and use Marijuana and more people are being arrested each year for using it.

Althought Marijuana is not as addictive as alcohol or cocaine, the substance is very dangerous. Not only is it against the law and if you were caught you'd face serious consequences, but it can do a lot of harm to your body.

There are visible signs of the effects of Marijuana such as bloodshot eyes and dry mouth.
Other short term side effects of the drug include impaired memory, impaired muscle coordination, and increased heart rate. Since its almost impossible to over dose on this drug, people use much more of it, many unaware of the future damage it might cause.

Many of the same long term effects as those who smoke cigarettes, Marijuana can cause persistent symptoms of bronchitus and chest colds. The drug also has a major effect on ones ability to learn and focus, also decreasing ones motivation to perform tasks. The drug substantially decreases fertility rates if used over a long period of time.

Marijuana may not be as dangerous as other drugs like Cocaine but it still has serious effects on your body and life. Noticing a Marijuana addiction can be one of the hardest things to recognize but if put to a stop, it just might save someone from long term problems.
