What is an advertisement?
Advertisement is nothing but awareness of existance of any particular product or servie that is available in the market to general public or any specific group of individuals or society at large.
How to increase the awareness or attract public to see or read your ad?
I would like to give a small example here. The human natural tendency is to get attracted to and distractions while they are doing something. Means, if in a particular public hall it is pin drop scilence and suddenly there is a big sound or noice, every one will turn their heads and get immediate curiosity to see what is happening there and it is vis-a-vis if there is whole lot of noice around and suddenly if it becomes scilent, again every one will try to get a piece of information why it became scilent all of a sudden. Therefore, the advertisement always should be different and has to get noticed.
How any advertisement should be? and how it should be presented.
There are numerous products already existing in the market. When a new product or service introduced into the market, it has to get noticed by the end user or the actual buyers. Infact this is the motive of our advertising.
Any advertisement has to be based on three things. Cultural, Behavioural and Moral. What are they.
Cultural: We have to identify who is target customers and study what kind of cultural group they belong to. If the advertisement is targeted in this area, this group will show interest in reading or viewing the advertisement.
Behavioural: We should study what kind of behaviour patterns that our target customers belong to. Try and focus on their behaviours to get noticed.
Cultural: We have to study the culture of our target customers. As there are different cultural groups exists in the market the advertisement has to be modified as per the area, regeion cultures. Otherwise customers may not be bothered to know even what we the advertisement is all about.
This also will help to understand and help in determining the price factor. The pricing of the product will also get affected on the same.
Infact I can go on and on with various examples. But, I think I have given enough inputs for advertising and how it should be. Thanks
