Do you see the world from the half empty or half full perspective

The world is half empty. The world is so empty. The world is truly full of of the wrong and stupid stuff. The world is so half empty that the well off and prosperous people are so dissatisfied. If the world were half full, people would be happier. On the face of it, this perspective seems insightful or at least a little clever. It is however better to see the world half empty rather than half full. If the world is half full, what is there to do, it is already half full. On the third hand, if the world is half empty, then one is compelled to try and fill it.

The world is half empty of love and caring. I know because I'm part of the problem. I know because I see hypocrites blame others for deficits in love and caring and never look to the one person they could really fix. That one person is you, yourself, and no one else.

The world is half empty of generosity. The world is full of wealth, food, houses, material wealth, and enough riches to go around. At least enough there is enough to go around.

The world is half empty of justice. It could be full of justice. Our law enforcement could do things so right. Our judges could mead out justice. Our citizens could be just in dealing with others. Yet the world lack justice. The world is not suffering only half empty on justice, it is suffering considerable more.

The world is half empty of health. People are sick and diseases increase. We have a wealth of medicine, medical technology and know how. We have the wealth to afford the best doctors yet illnesses stalk us. This world is in need of health.

The world is really empty of understanding. We have so many languages. We have TV, the Internet, cellphones, and all manner of communication tools. We have a great and sophisticated command of language but lack in understanding. We can speak to each other in the morning and have no idea of what we speak. The world has a great need for understanding.

The world is half empty of peace. Actually there is a poverty of peace. Peace like justice and material wealth is much in much need. Though we enjoy peace, peace is nothing but a wisp of a notion for too many. The world needs to be filled with peace.

The world is half empty of honesty. The world is filled with deceit and deceitful men. Words are spoken without meaning. Vow are taken and are devoid of power and meaning. The world is in great need of honesty.

The world is half empty of truth. The world is full of pompous opinions and righteous indignation. The world is full of knowledge but truth is lacking. There are many competing ideas but where is truth. The world needs truth and to be ground and anchored in truth.

The world is more than half empty of wisdom. With instant communication and wealth of knowledge, wisdom is often left out. Wisdom is the quiet man, whose judgment is sound. Yet the clamor of the fools dominate the actions of men. There is a flurry of action and a dearth of thought and wisdom. The world needs wisdom to manage and prosper. More than all else, the world and men in particular need to be filled with wisdom.
