Its been said that pure and undefiled religion is this: To visit orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world. Secular humanism, in my opinion, is a disease of the mind that deceivingly draws us farther and farther away from our Creator. Yes, I am of the faith; However, Aristotle and Plato (His Mentor) wasn't. Just the thought of an idea, let alone a doctrine, that tries to define man and dethrone God makes me sick. But I have to live with it. Human reason (fleshly, worldly knowledge) cannot even compare to the wisdom of God, for His knowledge goes far beyond all human comprehension. Here is a mystery...
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was that he convinced the world that he didn't exist. And how does he do this? Let us just say that secular humanism is one of the tools of his trade, for the minds of men can be easily manipulated into believing that which is false. Corruption, it seems has flourished for the time being; But weak foundations have a tendency to crumble... And to elaborate a little more on the answer to the question above, "Is humanism a religion?" My answer to you is that weather its considered "religion" or "a way of life" its false and misleads many. Instead of Light, it brings darkness; Instead of life, death...
