When it comes to modern answers to our power needs we can turn to France.
France? Well! While the United States has all but shut down the building
of new nuclear power plants, France not only runs the most modern atomic
plants, these same plants lead the world in breaking down nuclear waste
faster, safer and cleaner. Also, France is the site of the world's biggest

nuclear accelerator. It is based in France using technology and financial
support from countries both East and West.
Is nuclear power the answer to the global warming threat? Sure! It is
easily produced, cheaper than other regulated power services and can end
our reliance of foreign oil.
When nuclear fusion is finally solved, fossil fuels will be a thing of
the past. I can only imagine all the oil producing countries in an uproar
when the demand for fossil fuels diminishes to little or nothing.
Nuclear power can help power and repower the batteries that can run our cars.
No exhaust, less greenhouse gas. Power plants that burn coal can go green.
There are many plus sides to nuclear power. Barring the scare of human error,
terrorism, and other tactics that have made nuclear power to be dangerous, we
can get new and functional plants up and running within the next 10-20 years.
If we are to believe global warming will change the world, let's be prepared
to change our energy habits. Nuclear power seems the best alternative available.
